At Melton, teachers use ‘The Emmanuel Project’, to teach RE: this is an RE scheme for Year R to Year 6 and is based on an enquiry cycle approach.
Children work to develop four key attitudes which are essential to good RE learning: Self-awareness, Open-mindedness, Respect for all and Appreciation and wonder.
Parents and carers have the right to withdraw their child from all, or part of, RE. If any parent wishes to do this, they should get in touch with their child’s class teacher in the first instance.
